Your EDC Homes Warranty

One of the many advantages of buying a new home from EDC Homes—and one of the things that sets us apart from other local builders—is our dedicated home warranty department. We are proud to partner with 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty, the nation’s leading home warranty company.  Your 2-10 Warranty is transferable should you sell you're home.  This increases your home's resale value.

We hope you never need to use our warranty service, but if you do, we promise to address your request in a timely and professional manner. Bottom line: EDC Homes remains committed to our customers long after the closing is complete.

How do I submit a warranty request and when should I submit?

The Builders warranty program goes into effect on the date of settlement or possession and from this point on all repairs within one (1) year will be scheduled through 2-10 Home Warranty. warranty program. The Builder will not return to perform cosmetic work after occupancy. The Builder understands there are many things going on when you first purchase a home, if any defects are discovered within the first 30 days, the Builder requests that you assemble any items and submit them to us via homeowner portal at www.2-10.com/sign-in/.  Please note that cracking around base boards, nail pops in drywall or caulking are generally not addressed within the first 30 days, but is instead addressed at the end of your one (1) year to allow the home to settle in. Prior to your one (1) year, all warranty issues must be submitted through your homeowner portal at www.2-10.com/sign-in/. Once your submission has been received, 2-10 will reply with confirmation of warranted items. What should I expect after submission?

Once we receive your warranty request, you can expect the following: 1) A Contruction Performance Guideline letterfrom 2-10 Home Warranty that your request has been recieved 2) Resolution of your request in a professional and timely manner.
